ESFR is an interdisciplinary scientific association for European research on families and family relations. Its purpose is to serve as a network, to support and to link family research as well as to exchange its results. It has been established as a federation of family researchers and of family research institutes within Europe in the first place, but ESFR also welcomes researchers and institutes outside of Europe as affiliates.
Given the unprecedented uncertainty generated by the COVID-19 pandemic and its likely persistence around the world throughout the summer and beyond, we feel we have no alternative but to postpone the 10th ESFR Conference which was due to take place in Oxford between the 26 - 29th August 2020. The conference will now take place a year later, from 18-21st August 2021.
For those who have submitted an Abstract for the 2020 conference, these will be retained and automatically considered for the 2021 conference. A new date for Abstract Submission for the 2021 conference will be announced in the autumn.
